The Kansas KidsFest was created in 2016 by two brothers. Attracting a crowd of more than 2,000 in the first year, the goal was to create a family festival that would serve as a vehicle to promote a children's organization every year. Today, the Kansas KidsFest is in its 5th year and promises to be a fun experience for all.

The KANSAS KIDSFEST is taking place inside West Ridge Mall on January 18th, 2025.

PARKING is free at West Ridge Mall

 

Admission: This festival is free to attend, but there is an Adventure Wristband which provides unlimited access to inflatables, special attractions, and face-painting. Wristbands will go on sale soon on our website.

Guests at the Kansas KidsFest

Do you accept credit cards? Yes. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash.


Do you have ATMs on-site? Yes. There is an ATM located at West Ridge Mall.


Are there any additional costs other than the admission fee? All of the inflatables, games, and entertainment is provided with the admission to Kansas KidsFest. Some vendors will be selling things and food is additional. 


Can I leave The Festival and re-enter without paying? Yes, your child must keep their wristband on in order to play on the inflatables again though.


Can we bring in food & drinks? How about for our infant child? Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the Festival gates. However, special food for infants and toddlers is allowed.

Can we bring strollers, wagons and/or wheelchairs? Yes! All areas of the Festival are accessible for strollers, wagons and wheelchairs.


Can we bring pets? Sorry, the West Ridge Mall regulations prohibit pets (including dogs, amphibians, reptiles and snakes) from attending. Service animals are allowed.

Any rules we should know about? To ensure a safe, enjoyable event, the following items should be left at home: beverages, food, alcoholic beverages, ice chests/coolers, bikes, in-line skates, skateboards, hoverboards, grills, weapons, fireworks, umbrellas and laser pointers. Food for infants and special dietary concerns are excluded.


Do you issue rain checks? No rain checks are given. The majority of Kansas KidsFest takes place inside and will not be impacted by the weather. 


Is there public transportation to the festival? You can take the Topeka Metro Bus to the West Ridge Mall. 


How do I pay for Vendor purchases? There are a number of Vendors throughout the festival selling fun, quality merchandise. Each market vendor determines what form of payment they will accept.
